Eggs Benedict Arnold (Cackleberry Club #2) by Laura Childs-a review.

Eggs Benedict Arnold (Cackleberry Club, #2)

This is the second book in this series (the cackleberry club). This book starts off with the funeral director found dead on the embalming table by one of the ladies of the club. She is then drugged. She wakes up and began looking for the murder. The other women help her along with running the Cackleberry club.
The series is the definition of a cozy mystery. A mystery that is not grizzly and the characters are very important. In this series , the cackleberry club is a restaurant , book store and knit store all in one. And the women that run it. I like this series. It is a fun nice read. If you like a mystery but do not want a grizzly one or enjoy the cozy mystery genre , I highly recommended this series.

A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages by Kristin Chenoweth, Joni Rodgersa review

A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages

This book is autobiography of  Kristin Chenoweth. For those who not aware of who that is she is an actress, singer, and Broadway star. She covers in this book all her memorable moments such as the play wicked and the TV series Pushing daises. You also get a look in to her past and where she hopes to go in the future.
I LOVE this book. To be fair I have always been a fan of Chenoweth's and even more so now after reading this book. It feels like you are sitting down talking to Kristin Chenoweth as a friend. She is very humorous and I laughed out loud several times in this book. This is awesome book to read if you are feeling down defiantly will make you smile. A fun fantastic quick read. Highly recommended for women, Broadway fans , fans of Kristin Chenoweth and anyone wanting a fun story.

Double Dealer (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation #1) by Max Allan Collins, Mike Flaherty- A review

Double Dealer (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, #1)

This book is the first one in the Csi franchise. In this book the authors introduce the original csi crew - Gil Grissom, Catherine Willows, Warrick Brown, Nick Stokes, and Sara Sidle. In this book two cases are ran side by side. The fist case being Catherine and Nick murder case that started fifteen years ago. The rest of the crew are working to solve a more recent but just as cold blooded murder. The case starts to get the interest of the FBI.
This book grabbed my attention because I really loved the original cast of CSI and watched it regularly. This book is fine. Nothing to groundbreaking much like any other TV series to book adaptation. Its a quick fun read if you like these genre. I found the mystery a little bit easy to work out but that did not take away from my enjoyment of the book. I enjoyed that the characters in the book are just like the were in the series. Recommended for fans of CSI or TV to book format.

A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks --a review

A Walk to Remember

This book is set in the 1950s. It is a love story between  Landon Carter and  Jamie Sullivan. Two very different teenagers. The two were a very unlikely couple but do fall in love.  The two navigate teen love and other very difficult problems in a small town.
This book was good. I watched the movie before I read this book. I tend to lean to the movie a little bit more just because it is in a modern setting and the 1950s is never my favorite time to read about. However the book is very sweet and written well. I would recommended this to people looking for a romantic chick lit book. However be warn its not light and fluffy there are some sad parts to this book.
